Abstract

Textual content is the result of our knowledge of the world, of the way we build and invent it. Information and Communication Technologies exponentially favour content creation, production and reception. In addition to this, they have creatively generated new ways of representation based on their great paradigms, as well as a new conversation between author and reader through a digital pragmatics which actively involves the reader. The materials digitation (images, sounds, texts, computer graphics...) from different sources acquires the same expressive nature, so that they can be creatively reused and combined, thus testing Toffler_s definition of digital discourse. Updating multimedia content_s virtuality depends to a great extent on the digital abilities developed by communication agents, which will be achieved through active and parcipatory education.
